Who is eligible for a 25% student discount?

All enrolled Harvard Students with a Harvard email are eligible for our student discount.

If you are getting an error message due to using an ineligible Harvard email, please reach out to us at thsorders@hsa.net!

How do I claim my 25% student discount?

Use your Harvard email at checkout and enter code STUDENTSAVINGS. Your 25% student discount will be applied to your order when you hit "Continue to Shipping". Be sure to accept marketing so you can receive the latest products drops, promotions and discounts on offer! For any reason if your Harvard Email is not adding the discount on to your order, please get in touch with us at thsorders@hsa.net with the issue.

If you are within one year of attending one of these schools and do not have a Harvard email, please get in touch with us at thsorders@hsa.net with proof of your Harvard student ID and we will send you a personal discount code which you can use to claim your student discount.

What is Alma mater, GroupGear, and CS50?

GroupGear is a branch of The Harvard Shop and the orders fulfilled by a separate team. They provide convenient and inexpensive custom products for campus clubs, conferences, and organizations—many of them led by students like ourselves. If you would like to make a custom order please visit their website at groupgear.com.

Alma Mater is another branch of the Harvard Shop that contains specific made-to-order merchandise for Harvard Students. Please note that delivery times are 6-8 weeks for these products. They are also not eligible for any discounts.

CS50 is the Introductory Course to Computer Science taught at Harvard College as well as on EdX to anyone around the world. The Harvard Shop has a partnership with CS50 and provide merchandise for the course at cs50.harvardshop.com. Please note there are no discounts eligible for CS50 products.

How can I buy a Harvard Diploma Frame?

You can get your official Harvard Diploma Frame, as well as desk accessories and letter openers, through M.LaHart & Co

M.LaHart & Co offers frames for a variety of degrees, with a selection of designs and looks to best showcase all of your achievements. Visit their site to place an order!

Can I place a bulk order?

Yes, absolutely! If you are interested in buying any of our products in bulk please email our Partnerships Manager, Ved Pant: ved.pant@mail.hsa.net

How do discounts and promotions work?

Discounted price is calculated pre-tax and excludes shipping. Vineyard Vines, chairs & lamps, rings, frames, Balfour gifts, and M. LaHart gifts are excluded from discounts and promotions.

How do I apply a promotional code to my order?

At the top-right of the first checkout page, Information, there will be a text box labeled “Gift card or promotion code.” Enter your code and click apply; you will see the change this made to your order's price immediately below.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major American credit card brands, along with PayPal. Note: All our prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout. Please allow for 1-3 days of processing before your order is shipped, especially during busy seasons.

Can you ship your products anywhere?

Yes! However, we are not responsible for additional charges you may incur as a result of international duties. 

When am I eligible for free shipping?

Orders over $99 that are shipping within the United States are eligible for free shipping.

How long will it take for my purchase to be delivered?

Shipping times will depend on location, but we always ensure that your purchases are shipped and delivered as quickly as possible. Since we are a student-run business with student employees, we pack orders as quick as we can, but please allow for 1-3 days of processing before your order ships. Fulfillment occurs every business day, Monday through Friday.

How do I cancel an order or return an item?

E-mail us at thsorders@hsa.net, letting us know that you will be returning an item. Then, ship the item with your receipt to:

Please include in this shipment your personal information that you used to make the order. For domestic returns, you will pay for shipping back to us, but we'll refund the cost of shipping that we originally charged you. This is to help streamline the process and avoid having to exchange money for the purpose of refunding items.

Chairs, lamps, frames, rings, and sale items are not eligible for return. For more details and info regarding in store returns, see our refund/exchange policy.

Chairs, lamps, frames, rings, and sale items are not eligible for return.

All Harvard-Yale Limited Edition items are not eligible for return.

Buy Online, Pick-Up In-Store

Pick up your online order at 65 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. You will be notified when the order is ready. Please bring your order number to present to the Sales Associate at our pick up location.

How long will it take for the order to be ready?

It will take approximately 2-4 business days to process your order.

How will they be notified that the order is ready?

An email will be sent to you once the order is ready to pick up.

Where to pick up the order?

The Harvard Shop 65 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA.

Changes to the order?

Changes to the order cannot be made once placed; however, a return can be processed in store.

What information do I need to bring?

Order number (THS#) and name

What items cannot be returned?

Chairs, lamps, and flags cannot be returned.

How long do I have to pick up the order?

Orders can be picked up for 10 days following notification that the order is ready, which will be sent over email.

At 7 days after order is ready for pick-up, the customer will be notified that they have 3 remaining days to pick up the order.

At the 10 day mark, the customer will be refunded for 75% of their purchase. The Harvard Shop will retain 25% of the order value for restocking costs.

What if I don't pick up the order?

If the order is not picked up within 10 days after the customer was notified that the order was readywe will return 75% of the order value. The Harvard Shop will keep 25% of the order value for restocking costs.
